2026 outlook
Wednesday, January 14th, 2026Hello and welcome to 2026! 2025 started out with record sales only to slow down midyear and eventually see some of the gains lost by the end of the year. The year ended slowly and had switched from a sellers market to a buyers in the city. What can we expect for 2026? Well at the moment we are very short on inventory – so if you are looking at selling in the near future, now is the time! As we come into the spring and our busiest time of year, we will begin to see an increase in houses coming on the market. So although there are buyers are right now waiting for the right house, I suspect the buyer demand will go down a bit in the spring when there is a bit more inventory.
